Toadshade Hill, nestled in Murray County, Georgia, offers a picturesque retreat at the foot of the Appalachian mountains. Just minutes away from Fort Mountain State Park, Carter's Lake, and the charming town of Chatsworth, our historic log cabins have been lovingly relocated and restored with modern comforts. Whether you're seeking a cozy night's stay or a week-long escape, our serene property awaits. Book your stay now and experience Toadshade Hill.

Each cabin dates back to the late 1700s and early 1800s, and has been lovingly restored with modern conveniences. The previous owner of this property saved these cabins, along with hundreds of others, by dismantling, relocating, and restoring them. In many cases the cabins would have been destroyed by developers.
In addition to hosting guests, Toadshade Hill functions as our home, and a working homestead. During your stay you'll likely be greeted by one of our chickens or a barn cat and our small group of sheep and goats alway appreciate a visit and a scratch. If you stick around for long enough and at the right time of year, you might even be offered some fresh eggs, goat cheese, honey from our bees or veggies from the garden!
